Well, things seem to be looking up, or should I say, going up. We have insurance through my wifes employer. Insurance provided to me via my employer is total crap, fortunately, my wife's insurance is only crap lite.

Our co-pay has doubled and our deductible is now in excess of $5,000.00. So now we have insurance which will make it so we do not have to pay the fine/tax for not having insurance, but we can not afford to use our insurance. Is this what they call a catch 22.

It is truly sad that we have allowed our elected officials to totally destroy our lives and families. Think of the things that the average hard working middle class family will no longer be able to do because of these new costs. Simple things like a weekend camping trip or a family night out with a movie and a pizza.

There is no reason for this and something needs to be done before it is too late.

Warren Buffet and His Taxes

It seems that Warren Buffet, one of the richest men in the world, is always complaining that his secretary pays more taxes than he does. This is not true but for the sake of argument lets say it is. Well in now seems that the reason for this is not because of tax laws, but because he has decided to break the tax laws.

According to Humanevents.com one of his companies owes $1 billion in back taxes. Check out the story by clicking here

So, go ahead and tax the rich, they won't pay anyway.

Occupy Wall Street

Why not occupy the want ad section of your local paper and get a job. Maybe then you could contribute something to society.

I have seen the pictures and it does not seem all that crowded. We do not hear stories of execs that can not get to work. In fact, they are probably looking out their windows and laughing at the simpletons on the street.

Occupy Wall Street, is a perfect example of the term "Useful Idiot"

How long do you think it will be before they get bored and go home, or realize that it is not 99% of the people that believe stealing from someone else is a virtue, but only about 2%. Then they will go home thinking, "I sure and an idiot" and not all that useful after all.

Reform the Government.,

How about we reform the Government and not the Greatest Health Care system in the world. We do not need to take control of one of the most personal aspects of our lives.

There are so many things that can improve our health care system that would not make us give up or freedoms and liberties.

1. No more primary care visits to the emergency room. How many times have people had to wait in the emergency room because someone with the sniffles was ahead of them. Why not put some triage nurses in the waiting room, and anyone with a non emergency visit can be sent away. No one will be turned away with a legitimate emergency.

2. Everybody pays a co-pay of $20.00. If you do not have the cash then it will be deducted from any public assistance you receive.

3. Absolutely NO non emergency health care for illegal aliens.

4. Anybody found coming to America for Free Health care should either be sent back to their country, or their home country should be billed.

This is just a few ideas and more to come.

No Public Option

Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius, said that the President will accept a Health care reform bill without the public option for insurance.

The problem with that statement is the fact that the entire bill requires the public option. This means the bill would have to be re-written. Perhaps this is just to shut the American people up.

If the bill takes the public option for insurance out, will the government still take control of what care we get?

Let us see.

Is Carbon Dioxide the Result?

Here is a Question I asked on Yahoo Answers

I am not a scientist, I am just thinking out loud.

Fact: Water Vapor is the largest greenhouse gas.

Fact: Until this past year there has been alot of Solar activity "sun spots"

Fact: These sunspots increase the temp of the earth.

Fact: It is hotter on hazy Days than when the sun is out with blue skys. The reason for this, I am told, is that haze is water droplets. These droplets has a magnifying glass affect and makes things hotter.

If this is the case, then, the sun is causing water to evaporate at a greater rate hence more water vapror (haze) in the air magnifying the heat (global temperature). This means that plant life, like animal life, will slow down in the heat. So, they will not take in as much carbon.

Therefore, the increase in carbon is a result of global warming, not the cause.

Fact: The sunspots are gone now and the earth is cooling

Does this make any sense?

Here is one of the answers:

You have most of the answer down pat and accurate, the only point missing is noting that the ability of the oceans to sequester co2 is dependent on the water temperature. Cold water stores more co2 than warm water does so 150 years of high solar output has warmed the oceans way above what they were in 1850 at the end of the little ice age. So 99% of the increase in co2 between 1850 and 2005 has come from warming oceans releasing it into the atmosphere because they have warmed enough where they are unable to retain it in solution. Remember the pH of the oceans has dropped from 8.5 in 1850 to about 8.2 today. This loss in alkalinity is 100% due to loss of co2 to the atmosphere from the suns warming of the oceans,

Cash for Clunkers

Some clunker - a beautiful newer Volvo, it runs with the liquid glass in the crankcase for over 4 minutes. Then the dumb@$$e$ laugh when it finally seizes up. +1 for Volvo engineering, -1 for idiot Government.

How about the dumbass owner of this Volvo. They probably did not get the full $4500.00 due to the formula that is used, could have probably sold the car for 10k. Do you think 20/20 or 60 minutes will do a report on all the pollution and hardous waste caused by this program?Just a thought.
