Is Carbon Dioxide the Result?

Here is a Question I asked on Yahoo Answers

I am not a scientist, I am just thinking out loud.

Fact: Water Vapor is the largest greenhouse gas.

Fact: Until this past year there has been alot of Solar activity "sun spots"

Fact: These sunspots increase the temp of the earth.

Fact: It is hotter on hazy Days than when the sun is out with blue skys. The reason for this, I am told, is that haze is water droplets. These droplets has a magnifying glass affect and makes things hotter.

If this is the case, then, the sun is causing water to evaporate at a greater rate hence more water vapror (haze) in the air magnifying the heat (global temperature). This means that plant life, like animal life, will slow down in the heat. So, they will not take in as much carbon.

Therefore, the increase in carbon is a result of global warming, not the cause.

Fact: The sunspots are gone now and the earth is cooling

Does this make any sense?

Here is one of the answers:

You have most of the answer down pat and accurate, the only point missing is noting that the ability of the oceans to sequester co2 is dependent on the water temperature. Cold water stores more co2 than warm water does so 150 years of high solar output has warmed the oceans way above what they were in 1850 at the end of the little ice age. So 99% of the increase in co2 between 1850 and 2005 has come from warming oceans releasing it into the atmosphere because they have warmed enough where they are unable to retain it in solution. Remember the pH of the oceans has dropped from 8.5 in 1850 to about 8.2 today. This loss in alkalinity is 100% due to loss of co2 to the atmosphere from the suns warming of the oceans,
